Like the cherry on top, the diamond earrings, the final touch. We are beyond excited to share with you guys our new garage door! We have been working with Clopay Doors for almost a year to make this vision come to life, and it has been so worth the wait.

So we fell completely into the millennial stereotype and “treat yourself” (hah, treated ourselves) this past weekend. We finally got an appropriately sized sofa for our living room and we got it for one heck of a good deal!

Okayyyy let’s be honest. Fiddle leaf figs are definitely one of the most desirable and yet intimidating house plants out there. And no, I’m definitely not perfect and for sure lost my first FLF to a classic case of root rot. Yet somehow, after trying out different techniques of watering (1 cup of water a week did not work for me), sun exposure and general care I have successfully kept my tree alive for 3 years!
